Information

This option is generally only recommended if you're 100% confident that the application will be a success as there is no refund of fees. 

We would always advise having a search carried out prior to submitting a new trademark application. 

With this option, we offer a search, which is examined by the UK Intellectual Property Office.  The search identifies any potential problems with the application and we can then advise whether or not to proceed with the application.

If you decide not to proceed with the registration, we refund half of the costs involved.

If you do decide to proceed, we will submit your application to the UK Registry and keep you updated of its progress right through to registration, providing advice and support along the way.

Your search report will comprise of a detailed examination conducted by the UK Intellectual Property Office as well as advice from our top intellectual property lawyers on the best way to proceed with your trademark registration.

It’s important to note that all of our searches are conducted by the UK Trademark Registry, whereas most trademark registration companies will undertake the searches themselves and may miss out on vital information that the Registry finds, therefore leading to complications with registrations, which can of course, mean more cost to you.
